What is BetterBuxus® ?
BetterBuxus® is the brand name of resistant Buxus varieties, developed by Herplant BV, after an intensive breeding program in collaboration with ILVO. These varieties have been obtained by classical breeding between different types of Buxus and are therefore hybrids. These 4 varieties are resistant to Calonectria pseudonaviculata (old name: Cylindrocladium)
These plants are marketed exclusively for historical gardens and boxwood lovers and for the time being will not be available on the open market.
BetterBuxus® is protected by trademark law and the plants are individually protected by plant breeders’ rights.
