One of the most important events in the Italian horticultural sector is returning: the National Day of Mediterranean Horticulture. This event is organised by the export organisation ANVE in collaboration with Vivai Capitanio and is scheduled for Saturday 30 May 2026 in Monopoli (BA).

The theme chosen for 2026 is more relevant than ever: “The generational change in Mediterranean tree nurseries. Strong roots, new visions: the future lies in the hands of the young.”

A key focus for the industry, which today more than ever is facing generational change, the utilisation of skills and the entry of new generations into the business. A moment for reflection, but also for sharing concrete experiences, tools and perspectives. The day will consist of various in-depth sessions: from technical presentations on the economic, fiscal and legal aspects of generational change, to round-table discussions with young entrepreneurs from the sector, to the afternoon activities, with a specific focus on those under 40.

The Consorzio MyPlant & Garden will also be present in its capacity as a Partner of Theme 202. ANVE considers this clear evidence of the importance of collaboration and the creation of synergies to guide the sector through future challenges.
