As of 6 July, Boomkwekerij Maarten van Overbeek will continue under the name Overbeek Bomen. According to the company, the new name better reflects the development the organisation has undergone in recent years.

What started out as a family business has grown into a professional organisation focused entirely on the business market. With its new name, Overbeek Bomen aims to better reflect its current position within the tree nursery industry. The company focuses on cooperation with growers, wholesalers, contractors, government authorities and other green professionals.

The name change is accompanied by several investments. Part of the tree nursery has now been SKAL-certified, enabling the company to supply organically grown trees from next season onwards. With this step, Overbeek Bomen responds to the growing demand for sustainably produced plant material.

In addition, a new ERP system is being introduced. This will allow batch photos to be linked directly to the current inventory, giving customers faster access to up-to-date visual information about the available assortment.

The company's digital identity has also been renewed. Alongside the introduction of the new company name, a new website has been launched that better reflects Overbeek Bomen's professional services and continued growth.

“This growth is not the work of one person, but of our entire team,” the company says. “With the name Overbeek Bomen, we show who we are today and where we are heading.”
