During the first day of GrootGroenPlus 2026, several participants received awards. The Jac. Lodders Prize went to Boomkwekerij Damen (R034). BCT ROOTZ (B078) won the Jan van Dongen Prize and Hergo Boomkwekerij BV (B084) received the Zunderts Groen Imago Prijs.

Boomkwekerij Damen wins Jac. Lodders Prize
This year, the Jac. Lodders Prize for the best green participant went to Boomkwekerij Damen (R034) from Meer.

In addition to Boomkwekerij Damen, Roelands Boomkwekerijen BV (B023) from Zundert and Boomkamp Boomkwekerijen (R116) from Hengelo were also nominated.

When assessing the green participants, the jury considers, among other things, the presentation and communication of the stand, how the trade fair theme Growing Together has been incorporated and how well the assortment presented.

BCT ROOTZ wins Jan van Dongen Prize
The Jan van Dongen Prize, awarded to the best supplier, was won by BCT ROOTZ (B078).

The other nominees were Containerteelt Elst-Bevers B.V. (B116) from Achtmaal and RV Machines & Techniek BV (B116) from Klein-Zundert and Vervos Agrotech (R077) from Schijndel.

For this award, the jury considers, among other things, the appearance and creativity of the stand, its communication and the way in which the theme Growing Together is reflected.

Zunderts Groen Imago Prijs for Hergo
This year, the Zunderts Groen Imago Prijs (ZGIP) went to Hergo Boomkwekerij BV (B084) from Zundert. This incentive award from the municipality of Zundert is intended for a company that actively puts sustainability into practice, contributes to Zundert’s green image and inspires other entrepreneurs.

In addition to Hergo, About Plants Zundert BV (B016) from Wernhout and Kennisplants BV (B041) from Zundert were nominated.
