Dutch tree nursery/ ornamental plant cultivation is traditionally well represented at the IPM in Esseen (D). 44 companies coming from all Dutch tree nursery centres will present themselves in the collective of BIZZ Holland in hall 8 directly adjacent to the entrance 'Ost' of the huge exhibition complex. The offer is broad: avenue trees, ornamental shrubs, conifers, roses, perennials, starting material and services.

The Dutch collective nursery stock entry will also host the Show Your Colours Award IPM 2024 pageant. Eleven plants have been nominated for this. All exhibitors at IPM Essen, with woody plants and perennials, could send in plants or plant concepts for this election. Eleven plants/plant concepts were eventually nominated from the entries. The Show Your Colours Award IPM 2024 will be presented on Thursday 25 January at 15.00 in the BIZZ Holland stand, hall 8, stand number 8A31. The Show Your Colours Award IPM 2024 is a collaboration between exhibition organisers IPM and BIZZ Holland.

The Show Your Colours Award IPM was introduced to stimulate fair participants to put their products with a plus in the spotlight. The nominated plants stand out from other products in terms of (leaf) colour, shape, naming, fruit bearing, drought and heat tolerance and sustainability.

Judging

The nominated plants will be presented in the BIZZ Holland stand, hall 8, stand number 8A31.On Tuesday 23, Wednesday 24 and Thursday morning 25 January, all visitors can vote for their favourite plant by means of tokens. On Thursday afternoon, the plants and their stories will be judged by an expert jury. The judgement of the jury, together with the votes of the visitors, will eventually produce a winner.
