The main italian floriculture trade fair MyPlant&Garden, held in Milan from 21-23 February, has got off to a good start. The first two days have already greeted mer bexoeker than last year and there is generally a positive mood among the participants

In the four pavilions of Fiera Milano-Rho, 768 exhibitors, 21% of them from abroad, will show their products and services. At 50,000 square metres, the exhibition space is again larger than last year.

The offer is very diverse: from lilliputian or giant olive trees, mammoth bonsai, imperial cacti, mini-agaves, salon algae, heat- and frost-resistant plants, superagapanthus, geraniums, roses, begonias, orchids, lisianthus, petunias, hibiscus in every shape and colour, plug&play vertical gardens, technological innovation, recent discoveries for plant and soil nutrition, eco-furniture, etc. The tree nursery sector was represented mainly by Italian companies, most of which joined ANVE, the organisation representing the interests of exporting companies. From the Netherlands, we saw Spaargaren BV from Boskoop, which has been exporting to Italy for decades
