Kolster BV celebrates 80th anniversary
Well-known grower and breeder of cut shrubs Kolster BV from Bokoop is celebrating its 80th anniversary. The team of 25 employees recently celebrated with a walking dinner in Boskoop. During the FlowerTrials, it is the turn of relations and visitors to celebrate the anniversary with them. Treats, bubbles and a limited edition Sportcap will be on hand from 11-14 June.
During the Flower Trials, the Kolster team is happy to welcome visitors to its own premises in Boskoop. Kolster's partners HOKO Breeding and Walter Blom Plants will also be present at the same location.
Anno 2024, Kolster BV has hundreds of varieties under licence, a 10-hectare nursery, a global network and exports to 90 countries. Since the 1980s, Kolster BV has specialised in cut shrub cultivation, cut shrub delivery and cut shrub breeding. From 2000, Magical perennials, pot and container plants and soil cover plants were added. Most Magical crops can be viewed at the 6.5 hectare nursery.
