GreenGrandPrix puts all plants in the picture

The GreenGrandPrix has been a fixed program item of trade fair GrootGroenPlus for years now. During the GreenGrandPrix, prizewinning plants will be put in the spotlight once again. During the 34th edition of trade fair GrootGroenPlus, which will be held from 2-4 October in Zundert, there will be a very special edition of the GreenGrandPrix. This year, all participants of the trade fair can participate in the GreenGrandPrix. Which will - pursuant the theme - ensure that many more green products will be in the picture.

All eyes on green

The GreenGrandPrix was originally initiated to make sure that prizewinning plants would enjoy some more time in the spotlight. Even though the green industry also has its trends, this is the place where products prove themselves year after year. To provide these products with the right kind of platform, it makes sense that we should pay attention to them more often.

This year, we want to elaborate on that, in line with the theme of the 34th edition of the trade fair: in the picture. That is why it has been decided that all participants of trade fair GrootGroenPlus will get the opportunity to participate in the GreenGrandPrix - even if their products have not been judged or awarded with a prize before.

Varied jury

Of course, this GreenGrandPrix will also have a special jury. Due to the unique character of this edition, we have opted for a varied jury, including international members. Of course, it will offer a broad representation.

The judges will visit a route at set times, ask questions, look at the plants, and pick three to five favourites. This will be done for all three routes. These plants will be moved to a special presentation space at the central square, accompanied with the feedback of the jury. Of course, these plants will be judged for (growth) performance, just as with the regular GreenGrandPrix.

During the judging, the participant will be asked to place its submission for the GreenGrandPrix front and centre in the stand, in a designated spot.

Participating

To participate, please fill out the registration form on the website. That way, the judges can prepare for their rounds. All plants will be tested for five criteria. These are: quality of the roots, quality of the foliage of the plant, the ratio between plant and pot, the ecological value, and the general impression of submitted plants.

Who would be better suited than the participants, to select the right plants to put IN THE PICTURE?
