Around 140 students and pupils visited the trade fair GrootGroenPlus, held from 2 to 4 October 2024.

Although they themselves do not buy plants or machines from the exhibitors, their presence is of great importance. After all, these young people represent the future of our industry.

On arrival, 110 students and apprentices were welcomed by Ilse Jochems from Treeport's education working group. They had a hugely interesting day and all went home with a nice souvenir. Besides these pre-planned visits in collaboration with Treeport, three other groups of students also visited the fair. Although these visits were not announced in advance, the students also had an instructive and interesting day.

We received feedback from many students that their questions were answered and they gained new insights. First- and second-year secondary school students in the municipality of Zundert were also very enthusiastic about their visit to the trade fair.

We thank all exhibitors and participants for their open attitude and commitment to these young people. Together, we ensure that students and pupils look at the industry with a positive feeling.
