Stichting European Plant Support (EPS) is once again inviting project proposals for financial support. Following two successful rounds—focused on stimulating international trade and supporting educational and sustainable initiatives—it is now time for a new opportunity to realise innovative ideas for the tree nursery industry. Entrepreneurs and organisations have until 1 March 2025 to submit their projects.

Focus on innovation, sustainability and education 

EPS remains committed to supporting projects that improve the quality of tree nursery products, boost sales, or contribute to knowledge-sharing and education. The development and implementation of sustainable cultivation methods also remain an important pillar.

This third round welcomes submissions that align with these objectives, offering opportunities for renewal and growth. Projects from both Zundert and other regions are eligible, provided they contribute to the overall development of the industry in the broadest sense.

Showing the results

All selected projects will be asked to present their progress and outcomes during the 35th edition of trade fair GrootGroenPlus, which will take place on 1 – 3 October 2025 in Zundert. Additionally, updates will be shared in for example the KwekersBode, which is published twice a year. This ensures transparency in the developments and allows the results to inspire others within the industry as well.

Are you active in or serving the tree nursery industry and have an innovative idea that aligns with the goals of Stichting EPS? Do not hesitate to submit your application. The deadline for submissions is 1 March 2025. The board of EPS will carefully evaluate all proposals and select the projects that will make the most significant contribution to the advancement of the industry.

To participate, your idea must be accompanied by a detailed plan and budget and submitted before 1 March 2025.
