Targeted content creation on GGP.News strengthens international impact

GrootGroenPlus is expanding its content strategy to promote trade and cooperation. A well-informed audience is essential for the success of GrootGroenPlus (GGP). For this reason, EPS is investing in a targeted content strategy for GGP.News, the platform that highlights participants, visitors, and market developments. By creating and strategically distributing high-quality content, GGP is enhancing its international visibility and stimulating trade and collaboration within the tree nursery industry.

GGP.News as an international information and networking platform
GGP.News was launched two years ago as an extra information channel, but the platform offers much greater potential. Thanks to financial support from the European Plant Support Foundation (EPS), granted in March 2025, news, interviews, and background articles can now be published on a structural basis. This allows GGP.News to develop into a powerful tool for positioning the Dutch tree nursery industry internationally, strengthening interaction and collaboration with foreign stakeholders, and stimulating trade flows through the active involvement of market players.

With this renewed focus, GGP.News will provide year-round updates on GrootGroenPlus, its participants, and international trends in the industry.

The impact of GGP-News on the industry

One of the key objectives of GGP.News is to have a positive impact on the industry. This will be achieved through content production (in addition to the KwekersBodes), social media distribution, newsletters and direct mail, the sharing of personal stories from (international) market leaders, and partner acquisition – which will also contribute to the development of a sustainable model.

This approach will increase the international visibility of GGP and improve the quality of participants and trade visitors. Additionally, GGP.News will play a role in strengthening trade between production and distribution regions both within and beyond Europe.

Would you also like to benefit from this renewed strategy and gain year-round visibility? Keep an eye on GGP.News or contact us for partnership opportunities. Participants of the GrootGroenPlus trade fair can submit their news and tips free of charge to the editorial team via chantal@ggp.news during the next three months.
