Plantura, based in Bocholt, Belgian Limburg, will make its debut at GrootGroenPlus in October 2025. With an impressive range of container plants, ground covers, shrubs, multi-stemmed trees and native species, the company positions itself as a total supplier for landscape professionals.

Growth driven by ambition

"Belgian Limburg is a region that’s becoming increasingly important, offering a wealth of green products," says Dries Aerden, owner of Plantura.

Founded in 2015 by Dries Aerden, Plantura has rapidly developed into a leading wholesale nursery with a wide and deep assortment. The nursery specializes in landscape-grade plants and mainly supplies fellow growers and the landscaping market, including contractors and public green services. "With hundreds of species in our assortment, we can offer suitable solutions for almost any project," says owner Dries Aerden.

Quality and diversity as core values

Plantura grows 10-liter shrubs, ground covers, and a wide range of high-quality native plants. Their offering also includes specimen plants and multi-stemmed trees. "Our strength lies in the breadth of our assortment. It sets us apart from niche specialists with limited species, while we combine variety with reliable delivery," Aerden explains.

GGP debut as part of a regional group

Plantura will exhibit for the first time this year at GrootGroenPlus, joining four fellow growers from Belgian Limburg in a collective stand. "Our region is home to a wealth of products, and we want to showcase that together," says Aerden. "We hope to expand our network through the fair, especially toward Eastern Europe where opportunities are growing."

Entrepreneurship with vision

In addition to GGP, Plantura is co-organizer of the Open Plantendagen (Open Plant Days) on 18–19 September, together with other local growers. "That collaboration is essential for us," says Aerden. "It helps us stay visible and strong as a group." Plantura strives to be a complete supplier – not the biggest, but certainly one of the most reliable and versatile.
