Nestled in the heart of Italy’s renowned nursery region of Pistoia, **Ghelardeschi Piante** has been growing outdoor ornamental plants since the 1960s. Now run by the third generation – represented by Gabriele Ghelardeschi – the company is exhibiting at GrootGroenPlus for the first time.

What makes Ghelardeschi unique is their **own production** model. All plants offered are grown in-house, ensuring full control over quality, availability and assortment. Their customers include fellow nurseries, garden centres, wholesalers and landscaping professionals throughout Italy and beyond.

At the trade fair in Zundert, they will present a handpicked selection of their plants – showcasing the variety and robustness of their cultivation. For Ghelardeschi, this participation marks a key step towards greater international visibility and client expansion.

Sustainability is a central theme for the nursery. “We are working to make our production more and more sustainable,” says Gabriele. “Step by step, with respect for nature and true to our family values.”
