Dutch nurseries stand out at Green is Life in Warsaw

At the international trade fair Green is Life in Warsaw, Dutch nurseries were once again well represented. Among them were Marc Lodders ( NL Plants ) and Sebastiaan Hoogenraad ( Hoogenraad Handelskwekerijen ), who shared a booth and showcased their range to a diverse international audience.
Busy exhibition days
According to Lodders, the fair has been very successful so far. “We’re now on the second day and it’s already quite busy. Yesterday was excellent, with plenty of professional visitors throughout the day. Many were key decision-makers who immediately indicated what they needed,” he explained.
Hoogenraad confirmed this impression. “We didn’t just meet existing contacts, but also welcomed new faces. The first orders and invitations have already been written. Once people see our assortment, they quickly become enthusiastic,” he said with a smile.
Awards and novelties
Dutch participation was also rewarded. The Groundbreakers, won the public prize, while Hoogenraads’ Hydrangea FlowerWOW received a certificate of merit. “On top of that, we are showcasing many other novelties, which attract a lot of attention,” Lodders added.
International scope
Although firmly rooted in Poland, Green is Life has strong international appeal. “Besides Polish nurseries, there are also participants from Ukraine, Germany and Belgium,” Hoogenraad noted. In total, the fair hosts around 200 exhibitors, including some ten from the Netherlands.
Poland as a growth market
The Polish market is seen as promising by Dutch nurseries. Hoogenraad: “Green is a growth market worldwide. Poland’s economy is not booming, but it is developing steadily. The interest in Dutch products is clear – otherwise we wouldn’t still be here.”
With well-filled aisles and plenty of professional visitors, the conclusion is clear: Poland offers opportunities, and Dutch participation at Green is Life is a strong step in that direction.
