Jan van Dongen award for the best stand among suppliers

In general, the judges mainly focused on how innovative the presentation was and who this will help the industry move forward in terms of sustainability, efficiency and the use of new materials.
On top of that, the interaction in the stand and the general presentation of communication and design were important. Finally, the judges looked at the way in which the USPs of the participants were clearly communicated.
This resulted in a top 3, supported by the entire panel of judges. In the end, it was a close call when it came to deciding upon the final winner. A second round of visits to the top 3 helped, and the winner was finally selected based on innovation and the importance of this innovation for the industry. Total Transplant Solutions (TTS) succeeded best in communicating this.
According to the judges, the presented product showed that this supplier has a ‘heart for green’. The machine saves on labour (in an industry with a shortage when it comes to labour), helps reusing plastics and works with biodegradable materials that have a positive effect on the roots of the plants. The concept is not just a prototype, but it has been tested in practice. There was a demonstration of the machine in the stand.
Other nominees were DTM Dutch Tree Machinery and MVL Beregening, Techniek, Boomkwekerij, Bricks.
