TH Machines innovates with electric tools for the tree nursery

TH Machines from Etten-Leur continues to strengthen its reputation as a specialist in practical mechanisation for the tree nursery industry. Led by Tom Huijbregts, the company is known for its customer-focused approach and innovative, tailor-made solutions. At GrootGroenPlus, TH Machines is presenting several new developments – from electric machinery to smart improvements on existing systems.
One of the highlights is the new electric transport cart, designed for internal nursery logistics. ‘We’re seeing a strong increase in demand for electric-powered equipment,’ says Huijbregts. ‘Growers want to work more quietly, cleanly and efficiently. Our electric cart combines power and ease of use, with a robust design and long-lasting battery built for daily use in production environments.’
Another innovation is the improved widening fork, designed to simplify pot spacing on container fields. ‘The basic principle remains the same, but the design has been improved,’ Huijbregts explains. ‘The fork is lighter, stronger and equipped with an adjustable system, allowing quick changes between different pot sizes. It saves time and prevents plant damage.’
Also new is a compact tool carrier developed specifically for small and medium-sized nurseries. This modular concept allows the attachment of various tools such as hoes, rotavators or planting guides. ‘We want to keep mechanisation accessible for every grower,’ says Huijbregts. ‘Not everyone needs a large or complex machine. With this system, growers can work more efficiently without sacrificing control or quality.’
TH Machines has also started collaborating with **Javo** to expand its range. ‘Javo is a well-known brand in potting and logistics solutions. By joining forces, we can offer customers a wider product range and improved service,’ says Huijbregts. ‘We share the same philosophy: innovative, reliable and focused on practical use.’
GrootGroenPlus remains an important platform for TH Machines. ‘It’s where we meet customers from across Europe and demonstrate our machines in action,’ says Huijbregts. ‘The direct feedback we receive from users helps us improve and innovate continuously. Step by step, TH Machines grows alongside the sector – always moving forward.’
