De boomteeltsector in Noord-Brabant en de Belgische Noorderkempen kent een rijke geschiedenis en is cruciaal voor de werkgelegenheid en economische ontwikkeling in de regio. Door de jaren heen is de regio uitgegroeid tot een modern en innovatief boomteeltgebied waar het bedrijventerrein Business Centre Treeport (BCT) heel goed in past. Het middelpunt van dit gebied ligt in de gemeente Zundert. Daarom is ervoor gekozen om het bedrijventerrein precies te plaatsen op de grens van deze twee landen én regio’s. Op deze plek aan de A16/E19 zal in de komende jaren een agrologistiek centrum verrijzen van zo’n 62 hectare. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The tree cultivation sector in Noord-Brabant and the Belgian Noorderkempen has a rich history and is crucial for employment and economic development in the region. Over the years, the region has grown into a modern and innovative tree cultivation area, in which the Business Center Treeport (BCT) business park fits very well. The center of this area is in the municipality of Zundert. That is why it was decided to place the business park exactly on the border of these two countries and regions. An agrologistics center of about 62 hectares will be built at this location on the A16/E19 in the coming years.
